Hi, I have got an xperia connected to my home wifi, but I do not know whether it uses that connection for internet browsing, or whether it uses the HSPA network of my service provider. How can I find out? Thanks

@Jaffamuffin - I'm sure you could text with 1 hand, though given the orientation of the keyboard it might be difficult. You could install something like TouchPal or something to give you a better on screen keyboard making that possible as well. Geo-tagging, afaik is not something featured out of the box. There is potential using 3rd party WM apps though as the process of geo-tagging isn't that involved. You can use Wifi in your home, for free. There are applications for windows Mobile that allow you to connect to home server, not sure if SSH is supported via 3G or Edge though. I don't see why it wouldn't be. Yes, you can surf the net, create documents, do your e-mail reading/writing and a lot more on this phone. The phone has support for up to 16GB MicroSD cards (these were released just recently) so no problems with an 8GB. Handwriting recognition is something built into WM anyway, so there is no reason why this phone wouldn't support it.

Is one handed texting possible? Does the GPS + camera work together to take location/geo tagged pictures? Can I use the WIFI internet to browse the net in my house for free? Can I SSH (secure shell) into my home server and copy files etc? Can Windows mobile be scripted ? (e.g. auto upload a picture to somewhere?) Can this succesfuully be used as a mini-laptop? I.e. web browsing/document creation? (like psion 5?) Any issues with putting a 8GB microsd card in? Doe sit have handwriting recognition?

Can you please demonstrate/confirm whether a user is able to text message single-handedly? This is a basic function most of us do every day with a shopping bag/briefcase in the other hand but not clear to me how this would work with the experia given that, as far as i can see, it only has a (two handed) querty mode or (two handed) stylus mode.
